A half-mile boardwalk connects Forest Road 8530 to Wukuklook Beach, at the confluence of Wukuklook Creek and Chatham Strait. The trail winds through a spruce forest and meadow before reaching scenic Wukuklook Beach and its panoramic view of Chatham Strait. Look for passing whales, or racing inland, the rocky backdrop of Sonyakay Ridge.
Be alert for bears at all times, they are frequently sighted in the area, especially when the salmon are spawning in the creek.
