Just off the highway, this Wasilla park is great for all age groups, and is convenient for locals or anybody passing through on the highway. Made primarily of smooth timbers, the playground features wooden trains, a swing set, a wooden sled dog team with dogs that kids can play on, plus multiple round and straight slides. There are also balance beams, monkey bars, ropes and inclined tires for climbing. If that’s not enough, views of Pioneer Peak and other mountains in the Chugach Range are as good as you’ll get anywhere in town, while its two pavilions make hosting parties a cinch.
