Since you'll be flying into Anchorage before your cruise, consider arriving a few days early to take a land tour and explore the stunning landscapes of Southcentral and Interior Alaska. Pair your southbound cruise with the Denali Essentials to Whittier land tour. You'll spend a night in Anchorage before traveling by train to Denali National Park for two nights. On your return, you'll spend an afternoon and night in Talkeetna before traveling by coach to Whittier to board your cruise.
See also Voyage of the Glaciers (Northbound) if you'd prefer this itinerary in reverse! Begin your cruise in Vancouver and end in Whittier. Pair it with the Direct to Denali from Whittier to visit Denali National Park after your cruise!
