Description
A two-story log cabin with a loft sleeps eight with bunk space for seven. It has counter space table, benches and a wood stove for heat. Other features include splitting maul and hand saw, an outhouse—and a rowboat with oars.

There is no potable water available, all water taken from the lake should be treated or boiled before consumption.

Location
The cabin is located just over 7 miles from the south trailhead on the Resurrection Pass Trail.
Access
Access by hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing or by floatplane and during open seasons, snowmobiles as well. From the Resurrection Pass South Trailhead, hike 7 miles to spur trail, then continue another half-mile to the cabin. Or via floatplane (30 minutes from Moose Pass, 15 minutes from Coopers Landing).

Terrain
The cabin is surrounded by a willow, spruce and birch forest and open brushy areas.
Special Features
This is a hot spot for boating and fishing for rainbow trout and whitefish in Trout Lake. A rowboat with oars is provided at the cabin. In season, you can hunt for moose, black and brown bears and wolves in the surrounding forest. Hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, skijoring, snowshoeing and snowmobiling (during open seasons) are also popular in the area.

What to Bring
