The Shamrock Building is a must-see spot in Tenakee Springs. Built in 1902, it has served as everything from a jail, pool hall, dance hall, senior center to a baker and art gallery. With its false-front facade and large display windows, it’s a vestige of an era when the town was bustling with miners and fishermen who descended on the place to gamble, dance, and see a picture show at the Liberty Theater.
