Go camping in Seward surrounded by the Alaskan wilderness, at an amenity-filled campground.

Full Service Campground

Just 5 minutes from downtown Seward is this full-service campground set amid lush trees and towering mountains, so close to Resurrection River that you can hear it run by. Some of the 58 sites come with water and electric, while others have a full hookup; 6 sites add a patio to the full hookup. You’ll also find 4 cabins to rent, as well as a few tent sites with a fire ring and picnic table.

Amenities & Games

You’ll also find lots of amenities. A central bathhouse has showers—with heated floors!—laundry, and a game room with a TV/DVD, couches, and a game table. There’s Wi-Fi, plus a store selling gifts and necessities, including wood and propane.

There’s more, including a 9-hole mini golf course, pedal karts to ride around the grounds, cornhole, and a GaGa Ball pit. You’ll also find two playgrounds. One is more traditional, while the other evokes Seward’s maritime heritage. Crafted in the shape of a boat—perfect for playing pirates or boat captains—it even has a nearby knot-tying station. There’s also a dog run if you’re traveling with your pooch.

Jumping Off Point for Seward Adventures

The location is ideal if you’re taking a day cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park or going on a fishing charter. And it’s just 12 minutes to the Exit Glacier parking area, making it easy to explore the trails around gorgeous Exit Glacier.
