As you drive out East End Road about 4 miles you will see open fields, and likely the sandhill cranes that frequent them.
Turn right on Alan drive . Slowly drive past Wasabi’s restaurant and look behind the building on the left and in the field on the right. Cranes are very often found in this area. Continue driving in this small subdivision and you will find that many residents feed the birds. You may also continue further out on East End road and watch the large open fields for cranes. You may even see moose and eagle nests in the cottonwood groves.
