Rocks, Rivers and Glaciers: Hike and History
This 4-hour moderately challenging outing combines outdoor activity with educational adventure. This trip takes visitors back in time and allows you to imagine what the region might have looked like when glaciers were here. Visitors will hike about 3 miles in total, learning along the way. If the conditions are right, guests will be able to see glaciers from the summit.
Valleys & Hops
Enjoy 2 to 3 hours of hiking, followed by a local brewery visit. This is the ideal trip for those seeking a mellow adventure. Guests hike about 4 miles along a mostly flat, groomed trail, through a glacial valley in Hatcher Pass. After the hike is complete, you will head to a local brewery to enjoy a flight or pint included with the trip. Many breweries offer non-alcoholic beverages as well, and groups can opt for a non-alcoholic stop (like the local Kombuchery) if they prefer. This is Revel’s most popular summer trip!

The History
Company owner and guide Kierre launched Revel because she wanted a way to provide community, education, and connection to place for visitors and locals. In 2024 Revel connected with 1,000 locals, hosting over 70 events for the community. Revel’s tourism trips help provide affordable educational offerings for the local community. Regular opportunities include monthly ladies night out(doors), community hikes for local seniors, and a winter speaker series. Kierre moved to Alaska in 2015 to volunteer with a state parks crew in Willow. She’s guided around the state, but out of everywhere she’s guided, she loves sharing Palmer the most.
