The Resurrection Roadhouse is a rarity: an Alaskan-lodge restaurant with a loyal local following. This eatery that’s part of the Seward Windsong Lodge has won over the area residents with great food all day long, gorgeous scenery, and sunlight until late at night.
From Aged Rib-Eye to Authentic Cioppino
Sit inside the Roadhouse or out on the deck, with a view of the Resurrection River and surrounding mountains. For lunch, try a bowl of fresh seafood chowder or salad made with Alaskan seasonal greens. For dinner, dig into a meal featuring semolina crusted halibut on crispy polenta with tomato jam or Resurrection Bay red salmon with wilted kale and mushroom ragout. Try the house specialties—the 14-day dry aged rib-eye, or a bright Cioppino which is packed with nothing but Alaskan seafood. They even do breakfast: king crab breakfast sliders, or a French toast made with house-baked brioche bread and crusted with macadamia nuts.
Burgers and Alaska Brew
For something a little less formal, check out the Goliath Bar, where you’ll find hand-tossed pizzas, burgers, and 16 Alaskan beers on tap—all served with that same great view.
