Day 3

Ketchikan

Cruise the enchanted waterway to “Alaska’s First City.” On your way to Ketchikan you will pass thick forests and rugged islands and inlets and see snow-capped mountains and deep fjords penetrating the wilderness.

Day 4

Juneau

Juneau, Alaska’s capital city, welcomes you to her midst. See the history of the gold rush come alive, walk the picturesque streets, and browse the shops along flower-lined sidewalks. You may choose to book a shore excursion or explore Alaska’s second largest city on your own. Depart late this evening for Skagway.

Skagway

In 1897, thousands of prospectors sailed the Inside Passage to Skagway. Today is your opportunity to explore Alaska’s Gold Rush history. Perhaps take a train ride on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, which helped miners achieve an easier route north and helped maintain the town’s population following the gold rush. Depart this evening for Glacier Bay National Park.
