Pilot your own ATV through the rugged Alaskan wilderness outside Fairbanks while taking in some awesome views.
You'll be driving a brand new Can-Am Trail Maverick side-by-side that’s strong on stability and features power steering along with some serious engine power. Ride with a partner or go solo. Never done it before? Not a problem! You’ll get instruction from expert guides who are also the owners and have been avid ATV and snowmobile fans their wholes lives.
The tour begins by meeting your guide in Fairbanks before shuttling 18 miles north of town, looking for wildlife along the way. Then you’ll gear up with helmet, gloves, and goggles and get an orientation to your ATV before climbing aboard your vehicle and hitting the trails.
You’ll spend 3 hours or so on an unforgettable 32-mile ride along a winding, scenic trail through Alaska’s boreal forest and enjoy a complimentary snack along the way. Motor up inclines, zigzag along switchbacks, and enjoy stunning views, like a 360-degree look at the surrounding peaks. On a clear day, you’ll also be able to see Fort Knox, Granite Tors, Fairbanks, and even Denali!
Choose either the Morning Tour (meet at 8:40 a.m., return around 2 p.m.) or the Midnight Sun Evening Tour (meet at 6:10 p.m., return around 11:30 p.m.—it will still be light out until mid-August!)
