Modified A-frame cabin. Cabin, outhouse, boat/floatplane dock and connecting trails barrier-free.
Facilities
2 single bunks, Sleeping loft, Wooden table and benches, Oil heater (#1 stove oil only), Covered deck, Pit-type outhouse, Dock, 2 rowboats (NO personal flotation devices). Water is available from the lake. Treat all water before using.

Access
22 miles (35 km) by float plane from Petersburg or 24 miles (39 km) by boat and 2.75 mile hike from bay to lake. 14ft tide needed to reach trail head by boat.

Surrounding area a mixture of muskeg meadows and forest. Cabin in open area along lake shore.
Special Features
Kah Sheets Lake Trail (NOT wheelchair accessible) begins right behind cabin, traverses muskeg and forest 2.75 miles to Kah Sheets Bay and cabin. 2 spur trails off main trail to sections of creek. Upper spur ends at viewing platform with bench. Entire trail, rebuilt in 1995, single width boardwalk. Route is easy walk. Steelhead, Dolly Varden and cutthroat trout, coho, sockeye and pink salmon fishing in creek. Large variety of berries and wildflowers in muskegs. Good wildlife viewing, especially bears, waterfowl.

Fuel for the oil heater (#1 stove oil or kerosene only), personal flotation devices, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags, fire extinguisher and fire starter. It's a good idea to bring your own water.
