Hatcher Pass ATV Winter Adventures

As the snow falls onto the Alaskan tundra, you’ll climb into the heated cabin of an ATV outfitted with snow tracks for an unforgettable scenic tour up a mountain with Hatcher Pass ATV Tours, out of Willow.

The Experience

These 2.5-hour-long tours run twice a day, offering sunrise and sunset views. You’ll experience driving and riding a snow UTV —a UTV with an enclosed cabin, ensuring that you stay warm and comfortable while exploring the Talkeetna mountains.

You’ll head into the gorgeous Talkeetna Mountains with your experienced guide exploring winter wonderland in heat and comfort. With the snow UTV’s snowtracks floating on the snow, you’ll begin climbing up a mountain, taking in the stunning views along the way. When you reach the top, you’ll enjoy some hot cocoa as you take in the panoramic view of the surrounding area. If you join the northern light tour, you may even find the beautiful, eerie aurora dancing in the sky—all from the comfort of your heated and enclosed snow UTV.

You can also choose to join the 2.5-hour scenic snowmobile tour. No experience is necessary as long as you’re at least 21 with a driver’s license. Book a single- or multi-seat snowmobile and set off, with your guide leading the way. Breathe in the brisk Alaskan air as you ride along, taking in the amazing sights and sounds of the wilderness. You can even combine it with a UTV tour. Experienced snowmobilers can opt for a single-rider, 3-hour tour through deep powder and have fun blasting through the bottomless powder. You’ll ride the brand new 2025 Polaris top of the line 2-stroke snowmobiles that come outfitted with heated handlebars. All brand new snowmobile gear will be provided for guests to ensure warmth and comfort.
