This park gets its name from the outflow of Big Lake, where salmon congregate by the hundreds in August to spawn. But to locals it’s known as “Big Lake Water Park,” even if the park isn’t that large. It does, however, have a volleyball court, tire swings, climbing areas, and lots of grass with access to a swimming beach, where the water isn’t very deep. The salmon are easily visible from a dock that juts into the creek, but fishing is not allowed in this area.
