Arrive Cordova on own and meet the lodge shuttle. Overnight Orca Adventure Lodge, a historic lodge located on the water. Each room has a beautiful view overlooking Orca Inlet. Watch the sea otters snacking on mussels as you stretch your legs before a welcome dinner (included).

Plan for a several hour wildlife tour focusing on brown bear viewing in the salmon streams. Travel is by boat, and guests will go ashore for a better viewing opportunities.

All day excursions: Start the day with a helicopter tour which will gain access to the Million Dollar bridge as well as spectacular Childs Glacier, Miles Glacier and iceberg filled Miles Lake. Spectacular views of the Copper River and Delta, one of North America’s most productive wetlands. The day concludes with a float trip down the Copper River, well known for producing the crown jewel of the salmon world.c

After a short hike through a spruce-hemlock forest, explore Sheridan Glacier and have the opportunity to visit the southern and eastern sides of Sheridan Lake via kayak.

After an exploratory hike of the Copper River Delta, used annually by upwards of 15 million birds during their migration, guests will take an early afternoon flight via Alaska Airlines to Anchorage (included). Overnight at location pending. Dinner on your own.

After breakfast, plan to meet your driver by 10am for van transportation southbound. Begin your adventure today with a scenic drive along Turnagain Arm (bordering Chugach State Park) to the port town of Whittier and your journey into Prince William Sound. Many photographic opportunities along the way. The great crew of Discovery Voyages will meet you upon arrival. Enjoy a welcome lunch reception and begin your exploration of this special place. Includes hiking, kayaking, whale watching, wildlife viewing, glaciers, great food, and complimentary bar. Shared bath.

After a morning activity, guests will enjoy lunch as we voyage back to the port of Whittier. We will catch a mid-afternoon tunnel and return guests to Anchorage by 6:30pm (location pending). Dinner reservations are highly recommended.
