Tours

Denali Photo Excursion

This 3-hour tour travels along the edge of Denali National Park and usually heads to the Denali Highway—one of the world’s most scenic routes. You’ll make frequent stops to get out and take photos of the landscape, and you may even get some pics of moose and other wildlife. Dramatic mountains and reflection ponds make for stunning photos; and if Mt. Denali is visible, you’ll head to Broad Pass and take some shots of this iconic sight.

Midnight Sun Excursion

This 3.5-hour tour departs in the evening hours, when the midnight sun’s light is the most dramatic. Your guides will take you along the park boundary, onto the Denali Highway, or toward Otto Lake—wherever the light is best. Snap stunning shots of the alpenglow on the mountains and colors among the clouds. And you’re more likely to get photos of animals, which are more active at dusk and when fewer vehicles are on the road.

Backcountry Photo Excursion

Take off in the morning hours on this 3.5- to 4-hour tour that begins with a short helicopter flight to the top of a nearby mountain. From there, you’ll have the chance to hike up ridgelines for various views out across an endless sea of mountains, with alpine tundra flowers adding colorful accents to your photos. On a clear day, you can also get a great photo of Mt. Denali. And even if you’re not a photographer, the views alone make this a spectacular trip.
