Access
Float plane. Note: Fog and high winds can prevent scheduled flights for pickups, sometimes for several days. Please check weather forecast prior to departure, and carry extra food.

Steep, mountainous. Cabin in alpine valley at edge of Deboer Lake, surrounded by mountains on three sides.

What To Bring
Fuel for the oil heater (#1 stove oil or kerosene only), sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking stove, lantern, pots, pans, plates, utensils, food, toilet paper, garbage bags, fire extinguisher and fire starter. It's a good idea to bring your own water.

Hike and climb to peaks and ridges of chain of mountains including Jefferson, Fulton, Hancock and Hamilton. No trails in area; intermediate hikers will find surrounding peaks good day and multi-day trips. Excellent climbing, wildlife viewing, photography. Mountain goats and ptarmigan. Numerous species of wildflowers. Rainbow trout in lake.
