Table, wood stove, wood is available (some searching required) Stove is kerosene. splitting maul, crosscut saw, wood shed, outhouse. No running water, electricity, mattress or bedding, cooking utensils, or cut firewood.

Area
Prince William Sound
Location
On the southwest shore of Coghill Lake, on a lagoon just before the Coghill River, on the east side of College Fiord in Prince William Sound. Trail is 3 miles.
Access
Float plane (50 minutes from Anchorage or 60 minutes from Cordova). Also access on trail from saltwater not recommended for large loads.
Terrain
The cabin is in broken, open country with a view of glaciers—majestic photographic subjects. Salmonberries and blueberries are numerous near the cabin.
Special Features
Wildlife includes black bears, Stika blacktailed deer, bald eagles, waterfowl, and river otter. Activities include fishing for sockeye (mid June-July), pink and chum (July-Aug) and Silver salmon (Aug-Sept) in Coghill River and Lake. The adventurous may enjoy hiking to Port Wells (There is a 3 mile trail but the brush is often thick).

More Info
Occasionally poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared for this. In fall, winter, and spring, the cabin may be inaccessible due to frozen lake surface (floatplanes cannot land). Maximum stay for this cabin is 7 consecutive nights.
