The Clausen Memorial Museum is as much a family logbook as a community museum, a place where residents are asked to try to identify the faces of old pictures. There’s an impressive display of historic fishing gear, including a model of commercial fishing “traps” that once decimated salmon runs. The museum also boasts the unofficial largest king salmon, an 127-pounder landed on a local fishing boat. The collection includes 45,000 photographs and 200 archival collections.
