Head nets are strongly encouraged during June, July, and August. Obtain firewood from dead and down wood. Food and beverages, food and beverage containers, garbage, harvested fish and equipment used to cook or store food must be stored in a bear resistant container or secured within a hard sided building, or by caching a minimum of 100 feet from camp and suspending at least 10 feet above ground. Please dispose of inedible game parts, fish and food scraps that could attract a bear, at least 300 yards from the cabin site and below high water level. Legally taken game must not be stored in any public use cabin. Only dead and downed wood may be collected for firewood. Campfires are permitted, except during red flag warnings (open fire bans). Upon departing, parties will clean and secure public use cabins.
