Alaskan Bats

Bats, though commonly thought of as elusive creatures, are regularly seen around Cordova in the summer and fall and can be seen in the evening as they flit around catching pesky mosquitoes and other insects. The area around Skater’s Cabin on Power Creek Road and other locations along the road are good locations to look for bats.
