Enjoy a half- or full-day on the water while fishing Alaska’s legendary Kenai River. The guides at Alaska Rivers Company are passionate about what they do and all experience levels are welcome.
Adventure Awaits
Choose to fish the uppermost stretches of the Kenai River or if you’re feeling adventurous explore farther downstream into the more remote Kenai Canyon. You’ll be fishing highly coveted waters as Alaska Rivers Company is one of the few outfitters that has a permit to operate in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
You will have the opportunity to fish for different species depending on the season. There are opportunities to fish for Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden on all fishing trips and when the salmon are running you can target Sockeye and Silver Salmon.
On these trips you’ll also enjoy spectacular views of the Kenai Mountains as you float down the beautiful Upper Kenai River. The river flows through the Chugach National Forest and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge so remember to keep your eyes open for wildlife along the way!
Alaska Rivers Company doesn’t freeze or ship fish, however your guide will fillet and bag your catch for you and can recommend local fish processors to freeze and send your fish home.
All equipment is provided, including life jackets, hip waders, rain gear, rods, reels, and tackle.
*You must provide your own fishing license.
