Enjoy a peaceful and immersive experience in nature by staying in an iconically Alaskan log cabin with Alaska Rivers Company in Cooper Landing. Hand-built cabins come stocked with amenities, are set in a stunningly scenic area, and offer adventures right outside your door!
The Experience
Disconnect from the bustle of daily life by staying in one of the four log cabins, each of which sleeps two to eight people. These riverside cabins are set on the turquoise waters of the Upper Kenai River and spread over five acres — and all offer gorgeous views. These hand-built cabins also come with a dose of history: the original cabin dates back to the late 1930s. All have their own private firepit and BBQ grill.
The grounds feature beautiful gardens, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, and a basketball net. And, because the cabins are part of Alaska Rivers Company, booking amazing activities like fishing, hiking, and kayaking is seamless. Plus, the whole area is suitable for events like family reunions or weddings; you could rent out all the cabins and invite around 20 people.
The Cabins
Every cabin features a kitchen and full bathroom with running water and showers. And they come fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, stove, and coffee maker, as well as pots and pans.
Old Riverfront Cabin
This quaint riverside log cabin established in 1937 has quite the history. Located right on the Kenai River, this gem is set up studio style with a queen-size bed, a single bed, and a futon and comfortably sleeps 2 to 3 people.
Riverview Cabin
This two-story cabin can sleep up to four comfortably. The main floor features a kitchen, bathroom, living room area, and pull-out futon, and there are two full-size beds upstairs. Enjoy a great view of the river while warming up to your cozy campfire or simply enjoy the view right from your covered deck.
Big House
Aptly named, this cabin sleeps 6 to 8 comfortably, with three bedrooms and multiple beds. This spacious and private cabin is one of our more popular Rentals for families and groups.
River House
Enjoy a beautiful view of the Kenai River and boreal forest from this two-story cabin, which sleeps 6 comfortably and has two separate bedrooms upstairs. There’s also a covered back deck perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or watching moose across the river.
