Alaska Outdoors Addiction Fishing Charters
There’s nothing quite like the thrill of catching an iconic Alaskan fish like salmon or halibut. And when you take an intimate half- or full-day trip with the passionate anglers at Alaska Outdoors Addiction out of Anchorage or Kodiak, you’ll cast your line amid incredible scenery on an expedition that’s carefully catered to your interests. Rent the entire boat or come as a shared guest; either way, it will be a magical experience that’s perfect for both amateurs and experienced anglers.
The Experience
The company can pick you up at the cruise dock, if you’re arriving by cruise ship, before setting off for some great fishing. The company's owner, Brian, will find out beforehand what your vision is for your journey and cater to it as much as possible. You can get out on the open water to go after huge halibut, or head to a river to catch some salmon, all with expert instruction.
While fishing is the focus, you can customize the trips however you like when you rent out the boat. If you’re equally interested in looking for wildlife or checking out scenery, they can make that happen. And if you’d like to see the old World War II lookouts, Alaska Outdoors Addictions can land on the beach for a close-up view before heading off to fish.

You’ll find both types of fish plying the waters; depending when you go, you may be angling for king, pink, and/or silver salmon, along with of course halibut.
Ultimate Kodiak Experience
On this 12-hour trip that runs from July through September, you’ll be going after halibut, lingcod, rockfish and salmon. Learn the gear and techniques that are most effective as you fish in various depths and spots to get the best results.
Kodiak Salmon & Rockfish
On days that you can’t angle for halibut, you can still be going after iconic Alaskan fish. Expect lots of action—and endless beautiful views—on this trip.
