World-Class Fishing
Whether you’re chasing legendary coho salmon, record-breaking sockeye salmon, mighty halibut, or trout, Alaska Kenai Adventures offers an unparalleled fishing experience.
In the heart of summer, amazing angling is just outside your door. Fish for salmon right from the riverbank; guests may catch their limit in just a few hours and have the rest of the day to go hiking, sightseeing, or golfing at the 9-hole course nearby.
You can also go out with a guide for a charter adventure. One option: Head to another private area just up the river, where you can fish for sockeye salmon that congregate just 10-15 feet off the bank. They’re so abundant that catching your limit is a cinch! Or try your hand at catch-and-release fly fishing for 10 pound-plus rainbow trout—true trophies—in the Kenai River.
You could sample a halibut fishing trip from Homer, Ninilchik or Seward, or go cruising for a day to see glaciers and wildlife in Kenai Fjords National Park from Seward. You’ll also have the option to add on a flyout fishing trip with Talon Air and experience fishing that’s even more remote, along with unforgettable bear-viewing.

Delicious Meals with Fresh Ingredients
Amazing meals are included in your stay and are prepared with fresh ingredients. Some come right from the lodge’s greenhouse, where they grow strawberries, herbs, lettuce and onions.
Start your day off with a grab-and-go-breakfast and get an early start casting on the river. Filling lunches include a take-away box to help propel you through a full day of adventures. And each night you’ll sit down to gourmet dinners in the lodge’s dining room. Don’t miss the locally made beer and wine, available for purchase, from places like Kenai River Brewery and Bear Creek Winery in Homer.
