This ranch is owned and operated by two lifelong Alaska residents: Scott and Ruby Hollembaek, who have made a commitment to raising grass-fed game without added growth hormones or antibiotics. They raise bison and elk on private land, and open their land to hunts each year.
Elk hunts are available from September through mid-October, and bison hunts are available from November through January.
If you’re not interested in hunting, though, you can also take tours of the ranch—just call ahead for details.
