When to Go?

Snowmobile tours are available during the winter months as soon as there's enough snow on the ground. Generally, that's November through March. Tours range from short rides of 1 - 2 hours, half-day, full-day, to overnight adventures. You should make reservations for longer tours well in advance.

What's Included In a Tour?

These guided tours cater to adventurers of all skill levels, offering the perfect blend of thrill and scenic beauty. With state-of-the-art snowmobiles and expert guides ensuring your safety, you'll have the opportunity to explore terrain not easily accessed on foot. You'll want to dress warmly, but most guides provide full outerwear to ensure their guest's comfort. After gearing up, you'll get a chance to practice on your machines before heading down the trail. Not everyone has to drive, there is also the option to be a passenger which can make snowmobiling a great tour choice for families. And, you don't need to worry about navigation, you'll simply follow the lead guide through the winter wonderland. Transportation is generally not provided to the tour start location, but guides can provide transportation suggestions if you have not rented a car.

How Much Does it Cost?

1-hour tours start around $150, and some companies offer a military discount. See our recommended guided snowmobile tours below.
