Tundra Spaghetti

Thallusoccasionally forming upright, white to creamy, stringy turfs but usually prostrate or sprawling. Thallus strings are roundish in cross section with tapering ends and have simple branching. On soil and rock crevices in sub-alpine to alpine areas. Two species of Thamnolia occur in this region.
