Silver Salmon (Coho)

The Silver Salmon is known for its spunk when hooked. Weighing in at an average of 7-11 pounds, many anglers will argue that there is no better game fish. The Coho has silver sides and a dark blue back during its ocean phase. Once it returns to freshwater the jaw and teeth become hooked and their silver coloration gives way to reddish sides.
