Red-winged Blackbird

Just as the name suggests, Red-winged Blackbirds have red wings with yellow edging that flash brilliantly on their shiny black background. Males are extremely territorial and often attack perceived threats as large as horses. Their territory is widespread across much of North America. You're most likely to spot them in marshy areas.
