Glaucous-winged Gull
You'll identify the Glaucous-winged Gull by its gray wingtips, a unique feature across the 10-plus species of gulls. They are opportunists that have been observed killing and eating rabbits and other similar-sized animals including young gulls. You'll find them nesting throughout urban areas on chimneys, rooftops, and indeed anywhere that is slightly elevated and provides protection from predators.
