Arctic Ground Squirrel

The Arctic Ground Squirrel, as the name suggests, lives on the ground, looks somewhat like tree squirrels, and inhabits mainly dry tundra and clearings of the Arctic. They are very social creatures and communicate with both body language and calls. Interestingly, they have different calls to identify danger from the air or land.
