Talkeetna Fishing Guides Image

Ready to take on the world's second-largest run of migrating fish? Friendly, knowledgeable guides from Talkeetna Fishing Guides will lead you, via covered jetboat or open-air raft, to the hottest fishing holes in the Susitna River drainage, including the wild and scenic Talkeetna, Susitna, and Chulitna Rivers.

Whether you prefer a 5-hour, half-day trip or an 8-hour adventure, you can spin-fish for all five species of salmon, depending on the season. Or take on champion Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, or Arctic Grayling. While the fish here aren't quite as big as those navigating Alaska's famous Kenai River, the Susitna and its tributaries boast more of them. Don't forget to watch out for bald eagles, black bear, moose, and other wildlife while you fish.
