The Glacier Bay Highlights cruise is a perfect shorter getaway cruise in the beautiful remote wilderness of Alaska's Inside Passage. Experience the true meaning of wonder in the soaring sanctuary of Glacier Bay National Park.

Highlights
Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay National Park

Depart Vancouver Day 1 • Juneau
Transfer to our hospitality area in preparation for your cruise. The convenient waterfront locale is a perfect base for exploring Alaska’s beautiful capital city, one of the most popular cruise ship ports in Alaska. Accessible only by air or sea, Juneau sits in a rainforest with the Mendenhall Glacier in its backyard.

Some of the best optional excursions in Alaska are available in Juneau. Perhaps a flightseeing trip over the famous Juneau Ice Field, exploring the impressive Mendenhall Glacier. Board your ship to begin your cruise down the Gastineau Channel.

Day 2 • Haines
Head down mountain-lined Lynn Canal for a visit to Haines, sharing a border with 20 million acres of protected wilderness. With its strategic location along the Chilkat Trail, this area has thrived for hundreds of years as an important and integral trade center for the Chilkat band of Tlingit natives. A truly unique town, known for its scenery, military history, numerous artisans, galleries and off-the-beaten-path atmosphere will allow you to breathe in a taste of the “real” Alaska. Take time to explore on your own or indulge in a wide variety of optional activities that allow you to take home much more than photographs.

If taking in the Gold Rush spirit is more to your liking, you’ll be offered the option of transferring via fast ferry to the bustling town of Skagway where many more optional excursions await.
