Anchorage Day 1 • Anchorage
Arrive in Anchorage today where an Explore Tours representative will meet you at the airport. After you gather your luggage our representative will assist in reviewing your travel documents before you transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Anchorage.
Day 2 • Anchorage/Talkeetna
This morning depart Anchorage by rail and enjoy the scenic ride north to Talkeetna. Upon arrival you may choose an optional flightseeing or jet boat tour to experience even more of the incredible beauty and spectacular views of this area. Overnight in Talkeetna.
Talkeetna/Denali

Day 3 • Talkeetna/Denali
Enjoy a walk through this colorful little town of Talkeetna before boarding the train to Denali this morning. You may dine onboard the train during your exciting rail journey north. Upon arrival at Denali National Park you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Denali.

Denali

Day 4 • Denali
Enjoy the full day wilderness bus tour 95 miles into Denali National Park. An experienced guide will share information about the land and its animals. Lunch and beverage are included at lodge in Kantishna. Overnight near Denali Park entrance.

Denali/Fairbanks

Day 5 • Denali/Fairbanks
Spend the day exploring Denali on own (we suggest the Visitor Center) before departing by rail for Fairbanks. Upon arrival in Fairbanks transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Fairbanks

Day 6 • Fairbanks
Begin your day aboard an authentic sternwheeler, the Riverboat Discovery. This 4-hour tour will elaborate on the misadventures of Captain Barnette and how a rumor of gold actually "panned" out. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Fairbanks/Anchorage

Day 7 • Fairbanks/Anchorage
This morning enjoy free time in Fairbanks before your return by air to Anchorage.  Enjoy the incredible scenery and beautiful mountains along the way. Arrive in Anchorage later today for your overnight.

Anchorage

Day 8 • Anchorage
End of tour. Spend this day at your leisure before your flight home or take part in one of the many optional tours Explore Tours has to offer: flightseeing, bear viewing, fishing and more are just a few to choose from.

Tour Includes: Meet and Assist, hotel accommodations in Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks. Rail transportation between Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks.
