Kenai and Denali Adventure - Tour 303
Choose this tour to experience both southcentral and northern Alaska. Spend a couple of days in Seward before returning to Anchorage for a trip north to Denali. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife. Magnificent glaciers, incredible beauty and breathtaking views are just a few highlights you will enjoy during this wonderful journey by rail.

Day 3 • Seward/Anchorage
This morning is free for sightseeing.  We recommend an optional visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center, the world’s first marine science facility designed to combine a research mission with wildlife rehabilitation facilities and public education. Watch puffins fly through underwater skies and meet sea lions and harbor seals eye to eye. Depart mid-morning and enjoy the gorgeous view on your coach transfer back to Anchorage. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 4 • Anchorage/Denali
Depart Anchorage today by train and enjoy an incredible journey north to Denali. Enjoy the scenery and be sure to have your camera ready for spectacular photographic opportunities. Meal service available.  Arrive in Denali this afternoon.  Overnight near the Denali National Park entrance.

Day 5 • Denali
Board a bus for the full day tour to Kantishna. Travel through 95 miles of Denali National Park’s prime wildlife habitat to Kantishna, located just past Wonder Lake. Your trip includes refreshments en route, lunch in Kantishna, and interpretive activities. Full day tour. Overnight near the Park entrance.

Day 6 • Denali/Talkeetna
Depart Denali this morning by coach, arriving in Talkeetna with plenty of time to enjoy activities for the remainder of the day. If weather permits, choose an optional flightseeing tour of Mt. McKinley.  Overnight in Talkeetna.

Day 7 • Talkeetna/Anchorage
Join Talkeetna River Guides for an optional 2-hour trip on the Talkeetna River.  Enjoy spectacular scenery, local music, and wildlife viewing opportunities. Depart this afternoon by train back to Anchorage. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 8 • Anchorage
Today enjoy the opportunity to stretch your “train legs” on a guided day hike in Chugach State Park or similar.  Be sure to bring your camera to capture the scenic views and watch for wildlife.  This evening you may just want to relax and feast on local cuisine at one of Anchorage’s fine restaurants.  Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 9 • Anchorage
End of tour.

Tour Includes: Meet and Assist upon arrival, overnight hotel accommodations in Anchorage, Seward, Denali and Talkeetna. Rail/Coach transfers between Anchorage, Seward, Denali and Talkeetna. Tours included are Kenai Fjords National Park Dinner Cruise in Seward, the Kantishna Day Tour in Denali, and guided hike in Anchorage.
