Situated 4.5 miles out into Kachemak Bay at the very tip of the Homer Spit, Land’s
End Resort has the most breathtaking view of the Kenai Mountain Range and its glaciers. Sit in the hot tub and watch the boats go by. Walk on the beach and take in the best views of Homer. If you don't spot otters, seals, whales, and eagles right outside your window or while fishing from the beach, you'll see them from the Chart Room, Homer's popular restaurant with a panoramic view. Local oysters, halibut and salmon, Alaskan beers and fresh greens are standard fare at this great restaurant.
There's a variety of rooms with prices to match, anything from a cityview full-bed room, to a two-room bayview suite. Of the hotel's 113 rooms, the majority have private balconies, and most face the bay. For the best views, you'll want to book a room on the bay side or a Lodge Unit. Land's End also offers fully furnished beachfront privately owned luxury lodges for rent, located adjacent to the resort.
When you're ready to explore more than that just outside your front door, use the tour desk. A helpful staff of locals will provide recommendations and bookings for activities in the area. You can also pamper yourself at the full-service Raven's Nest Spa, which offers therapeutic massage, herbal wraps, facials, and other treatments. An indoor lap/pool, workout room, hot tub and sauna and business center are onsite as well.
