Where to Get your Fishing License
Don't forget to acquire an Alaska fishing license before you make that first cast. To get your license before you even arrive, go to the Alaska Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G) website and order it online (http://www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/). In state, you can purchase licenses at local outdoor retailers, such as Anchorage's Mountain View Sports Center (907-563-8600).
Licenses may also be available from your guide, air taxi, or outfitter, whether included in a package or for sale at their office.
