A one-hour flight north of Fairbanks
provides guests an aerial view

landing in the town of Coldfoot,
nestled in the Brooks Mountain
Range. The rest of the day is
spent with a guide who shares
the story of the Arctic as you
work your way south back into
Fairbanks. Explore up close the

This experience has all the highlights
of an Arctic Circle Fly/ Drive Adventure,
plus a visit to the Nunimuit Eskimo
village of Anaktuvuk Pass. This community
of 300 is nestled in the heart of
the majestic Brooks Mountain Range
and circled by the Gates of the Arctic
National Park.
For guests who prefer to keep both
feet on the ground, the Arctic Circle Drive Adventure provides
a full-day, round-trip guided ground
journey from Fairbanks to the Arctic
Circle. Guests spend the day with an
informative guide exploring the wonders
of the Alaskan Arctic.
For visitors who have a limited time, the Arctic
Circle Air Adventure is a quick, 5-hour hit
of the Arctic. Guests fly one hour north from Fairbanks
to Coldfoot, nestled in the Brooks Mountain Range.
Once on the ground a guide meets the guests and shares
with them the golden history of the Koyukuk Gold region
and what life is like year-round in this northern region.

This two-day experience provides free
time for visitors to explore the Brooks
Mountain Range by foot on a guided hike,
with a scenic float on the Middle Fork
Koyukuk River, or on a flight of the
Gates of the Arctic National Park. Travel
to Coldfoot is by a one-hour flight from
Fairbanks and the return on day two includes
all the highlights of a guided ground
tour south on the Dalton Highway.
