Denali Wilderness Jetboat Safari Video»

Hang on for the River Safari, an exciting, fun-filled soft adventure that provides a jet boat trip to a remote camp, miles into the wilderness. Once there, meet the people of Bush Alaska who call this land of extremes home. If you came to Alaska to see, feel, touch, and gain a greater understanding of the wilderness and its people, this is the trip for you.

Rain or shine, the River Safari presents a rare opportunity to visit with Alaskans who make their living and raise their families in the wilderness near Denali. Your guides are woodsmen, trappers, hunters, and boatmen who show you their Alaska with pride. They’ll share a welcome snack at camp, show and talk about fur, and teach you to pan for gold as if your living depended on it. Best of all you’ll get there via warm, safe, enclosed, and exciting twin-engine jet boats with plenty of large windows for your viewing. Watch for wildlife and enjoy views of Talkeetna Mountain and the Alaska Range.

Details: No experience necessary. No minimum age requirement, but children under 12 are required to wear a life vest while in the boat. Passengers will be standing in the boat and getting in and out with help from a handrail. There’s an easy walk to camp (less than 50 yards). If you have any concerns, please let Denali Wilderness Safari know in advance so they can be ready to assist you.
