Casting your line for fish from the banks of a glacial Alaskan river: it's an experience that many dream about. Denali Fly Fishing Guides makes it easy to make the dream come true, setting you up with all equipment and instruction. Every day there are three half-day departures and one full-day trip; you'll be transported out to Chavay Lake, a five-acre body of water surrounded by spruce forest 25 miles south of the Denali National Park entrance.
Go for a full day and you can move on from the lake and tackle some of the wilder, more remote rivers and streams. With a maximum of four anglers per guide, you'll receive plenty of attention. So even if you've never tied a fly or cast a line before you'll learn how to do it right. You'll be casting for arctic grayling, though the lake also has a stocked population of rainbow trout. Full-day trips get you out to more remote lakes and streams. And anyone over 12 can go!
